In Devil's
Playground, Harrington explores a metaphorical microcosm strewn with toys that the dancers rearrange into varied formations,
creating barriers, desire, jealousy, greed, safety, magic, and maybe even a sense of home. Devil's Playground is set to an
original score by Quentin Chiappetta. Costumes by Patti Gilstrap, sets by Greg Kessler and Brian Novatny. Harrington is
joined by fellow dancers Eve Chalom, Heather Mims, Jessy Smith, Jenna Hunt, Jillian Hollis, and Jaqueline Fritz.

Giscard Games Produced by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Dates:
Aug 2, 9, 18 at 12:30pm; Aug 4, 11, 16 at 4:30 pm Site: Steps of the Federal Hall Memorial at Wall Street Original
Score by Quentin Chiappetta Eight dancers take over the stairs of the historic Federal Hall Memorial's stairs, opposite
the New York Stock Exchange. In her piece, Harrington reflects on the nature of games in the stock market and the risk, competition,
greed, fear, and exhilaration involved in the climbing up the ladder of our capitalistic society. Using a derivative of sign
language used in the futures and commodities markets, she creates a game ruled by chance and guts. Dancers must vie to stay
in the center under the statue of George Washington, thus becoming the one who runs the game. The ghosts that have inhabited
this structure, and that of George Washington, also become part of this uncommon feat. www.site-lines.org 212 219-9401
